We are delighted to have been part of a delegation from the WindEurope association that attended the Second Ministerial Meeting of the Green Energy Advisory Council in Baku, Azerbaijan.<\/p>\n

During this forum, held on March 1st, WindEurope and the Renewable Energy Agency of Azerbaijan signed a Memorandum of Understanding to promote the deployment of both onshore and offshore wind energy in Azerbaijan and the Caspian Sea region. Through this collaboration, the parties aim to harness the country’s vast onshore and offshore wind potential, contributing to the global goal of tripling renewable energy capacity by 2030.<\/p>\n

Azerbaijan aims for renewable energy to represent 30% of its total installed electricity capacity by 2030, with the goal of exporting a significant portion of this energy to Europe through a Caspian-EU Green Energy Corridor. Initial steps for this corridor have already been taken with agreements signed with Georgia, Romania, and Hungary to deploy an underwater cable under the Black Sea.<\/p>\n

Navantia Seanergies’ participation is part of our strong commitment to green energy and to organizations like WindEurope, which promotes wind energy in Europe. As a leading public company in Spain in its segment, it supports the EU’s objectives through collaboration with strategic countries for the European Union.<\/p>\n

Navantia Seanergies was invited as the sole representative of the European marine foundation manufacturing industry, which will be one of the most in-demand products to meet the goals of offshore wind energy growth in Europe.<\/p>\n

Navantia’s green energy division, represented by Jos\u00e9 Luis Inog\u00e9s Esteban, Head of Business Development, participated in a specific workshop on offshore wind energy, along with other companies from the WindEurope delegation who shared their experiences as leaders in various areas related to this sector.<\/p>\n
