The investment of 36 million euros has allowed the establishment of a new XXL monopiles production facility at the former shipyard, generating approximately 400 new jobs.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Two production lines<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>The new factory, with its two production lines in operation, has been instrumental in the construction of monopiles for Iberdrola&#8217;s East Anglia 3 offshore wind farm, as well as fixed foundations (jackets) for other marine projects. The President of Navantia and the President of Windar Renovables received the award in Madrid, highlighting collaboration and growth in the sustainable energy sector.<\/p>\n<p><strong>&#8220;Green industrialization&#8221;<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Iberdrola&#8217;s speech emphasized the contribution to a greener and more sustainable economic model, encouraging continued growth in &#8220;green industrialization&#8221; to ensure energy autonomy and decarbonization.
